RACISM IS A PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS.
RACISM IS TRAUMA.
TOGETHER WE ARE MAKING CHANGES.
We are living in a historical moment of profound reckoning with racism. We must acknowledge and address the multifaceted and insidious ways racism manifests in our minds, in our relationships, and in our institutions. As a Department, we are working to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism in the work we do. We need to do more, do differently, and do better. We commit to an ongoing process of critical examination, accountability, and concrete actions to work to dismantle racism within ourselves, and systemic racism in our organization, our community, and our society.
